Web design summary and colophon
Colophon and summary of Web design matters pertaining to the LONDON O3 Web site.
This Web site is designed, produced, maintained and hosted by ECOTEC Research & Consulting on behalf of the Learning and Skills Council.
Web standards
The LONDON O3 Web site follows the W3C recommendations for Extensible HyperText Markup Language 1.0 and Cascading Style Sheets 2. In both cases (XHTML and CSS), the markup of all pages is valid.
Scripting
Functionality is provided through JavaScript (client-side) and ASP (server-side).
One site fits all
There is only one version of the site: Web standards are followed to promote accessibility, compatibility and interoperability. There are no text-only, ‘printer-friendly’ or browser-specific versions. While a Web standards compliant visual browser will display the pages as they were intended, all the content of the site is accessible using any browser or Internet device.
