LONDON O3 Web feeds
Keep on top of updates to the LONDON O3 Web site.
Latest news Web feed
The LONDON O3 Web site now provides a Web feed (sometimes called an RSS feed) for the latest news items that appear on the home page. The Web feeds offer an easy way for you to know when the site has been updated with new information or resources, without having to visit the site itself.
At the moment, we offer two flavours of the LONDON O3 latest news feed:
The feeds contain the same information, but in different formats. To learn more about syndication, RSS and Atom, read a more complete overview.
What is a Web feed and how do I use it?
A Web feed takes the form of an XML file that can be read by special software called feed readers or aggregators. Adding the Web address of our feed to your feed reader will display the latest news items on the LONDON O3 site, including a brief description and a link taking you to the relevant updated page on the Web site. The reader will also periodically scan the LONDON O3 site for further updates to the feed and alert you if there are any – so you don’t have to keep checking the home page.
Many Web sites now offer feeds for their latest content and feed readers can handle them all, meaning you can stay in touch with many different sources of news and information.
How do I get a feed reader?
There is a wide range of feed readers available for different platforms and it’s also possible to check feeds online. Popular readers at the moment include FeedDemon for Windows, NetNewsWire for Macintosh, and Bloglines online, but there are many others available.
