Pan London 2 Programme
The LSC Pan London ESF Programme 2 is running from summer 2006 to summer 2008 and is funding projects under 9 ESF measures. 35 projects started in August 2006 following a call for tender earlier in Spring 2006 which aimed to address 2 main key themes: worklessness and Level 3. This meant an additional cash boost of approx. £30 million towards helping those in most need within the London labour market, including those from ethnic minorities and disabled people, as well as further progress towards ensuring London has the workforce to remain competitive. The Pan London 2 Prospectus provides further details about this round.
Additionally, 6 projects started in October 2006 under the London LSC part of the On Your Marks (London European Social Fund Skills for the 2012 Games Programme); the Prospectus is available for further information. This programme forms parts of the Greater South East On Your Marks tri-regional initiative which is delivered by the LDA and the LSC for the London region and was launched on 7 March 2006 to allocate around £5.8 million to help prepare Londoners for opportunities brought by the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The London LSC On Your Marks projects are being delivered as part of the Pan London 2 Programme and will also end in July 2008.
An Unallocated Funds Round has also been launched in September 2006 to maximise unused funds under Pan London 2 and On Your Marks. The list of preferred suppliers is now available, as well as project descriptions.
Descriptions of projects funded under Pan London 2 and On Your Marks (ESF Skills for 2012 Games) are available through the Project search facility. Press releases from projects and case-studies are also forthcoming.
